Sausage and Peppers Pizza
This man is the pizza gift that keeps on giving. Back with another recipe, this time @pizza_jew brings us Sausage & Peppers pizza. A simple classic, inspired by his mother-in-law.
It’s sweet, salty, and simple. Guaranteed to be a hit.
Equipment
Ingredients
2 dough balls
3 Italian sausages
1 Mozzarella ball
1 Jar of brined olives
1 Tbsp Capers
3 Peppers (red & yellow)
Parmesan
Black pepper
Extra virgin olive oil
Step 1:
Cut the peppers into thin strips, place into a roasting tin with the olives and capers. Add black pepper and extra virgin olive oil and roast in Dome at around 250°C/482°F.
Step 2:
Open up your dough ball of choice and top with mozzarella and roasted sausage (roast them in advance by removing sausage casing and frying off in a pan until cooked through).
Step 3:
Remove the peppers mix from the Dome and add to your dough base. Grate parmesan over the top of the pizza.
Step 4:
Bake in Gozney Dome or Roccbox at 230°C/450°F on a low flame until golden brown. Slice and enjoy.
